AU$30 (+/-) for an SD card music player/recorder, SD card included? Bonkers! It gets better! Bluetooth (transmit and receive) output as well as 3.5mm jack. They even claim e-reader capability but I suspect that's ESL for "audiobook" TBH. Well, it's payday tomorrow, so I pulled the pin. Should have it in a week.
Streaming is a capitalist scam (pay the fing artists properly, not 0.04c per play), music on your mobile phone is a blip-and-ping interrupted nuisance. I have a library of songs (I still run Music like it's iTunes), most of which I either paid for or was given to me by the unsigned artists I've known or jammed with over the years (20000 songs) or my own compositions...
What?! Why wouldn't I listen to my own creations? If they weren't good enough for me to enjoy, why would I inflict them on others?! Check out my soundcloud here, as well as my bandcamp here.
Yeah, so an MP3 player to replace my now worn out and unchargeable iPod mini? Only better than an iPod, it's a note taker, there's no DRM, it works with my bluetooth JBLs, it doesn't interrupt my listening the second a call comes in... or a text, "TING!" Wait, what was that lyric. Call that hifi, cause I don't! FOR THIRTY BUCKS WITH A 32GB SD CARD! And I paid for, or was given as a gift, all of the music I plan to put on it.
F*** Spotify! I will be dead 250 years before I can draw my first US$50, but wait, I can stream... via a bluetooth internet connection, too, not audio, directly connected to stream links, like internet radio stations. Yeah, Mr Pink (my iPod) was beloved, but no BT, no recording, no streaming. This Chinese marvel has everything except interuptions from my phone.
If I don't pickup, I'm chillin2choons.
